CoolerMaster Hyper 48 Copper CPU Fan $18.99+S&H

Looks interesting. Might actually grab one to try. Although I hate heatsinks that require mobo removal and weigh 900grams. : /

All the user reviews at NewEgg say it's no better cooling wise, than the Intel hsf plus it's much larger and heavier.
It's tempting but I'll pass.
Thanks OP!

LMAO! You actually go by the user reviews @ Newegg?!

Cooler Master not great with heatsinks. Their Hyper 6+ isn't that great of a performer in the 50 dollar price range. Easily overtaken by the Scythe Ninja. Not worth it.

when i bought the heatsink 2 days ago, RS had a 20% off promotion, and I end up getting it for 15. How is that not worth it for a all copper and both intel/amd compatible heatsink from a well know brand? From most reviews on the web, this heatsink is on par with XP-90, if u swap the 92mm fan with something more powerful, it will beat the XP-90.

Scythe Ninja is better, but it cost twice as much if u get the Ninja on sale, otherwise 3 times as much! I paid $60 for my Ninja 8 months ago!

Well these days the scythe ninja 6 plus (which comes with a free 120mm fan as well) is about $35 total shipped. So it isnt that big of a margain anymore.
