Coolermaster HSF question--

I have a new Coolermaster DP5-7JD1B, they rate it for up to a 2200+ palamino or a 2600+ tbred. Anyone have any experiences with these? you think this hsf will be adequate for a xp2100+ palamino? I dont have a current setup to test it on so I cant say how it handles anything else. Thanks--

If they say it will be adequate then it probably is ,but how much headroom it'll have for overclocking is another matter.

I went to check out its specs over at Coolermaster but couldn't find it,are you sure you've got the right model number?

Here is the page a the coolermaster site. I was kind of thinking along the lines of what you said, just a little worried that if it runs on the hot side of things (being that it is the top end of supported procesors) that I may run into stability issues at some point. Thanks for looking-

Seems to be an ok HSF ,though the airflow is on the low side,I guess you got it for its low noise output?.

Just overclock the cpu & watch the temps from within windows using Mother Board Monitor, increase the FSB in small steps btw..I suggest you don't touch the cpu voltage though.

Good luck🙂
