Coolermaster Desperado custom painted stacker 830

Does anyone here own one of these or has seen the paintjob in person?
Is it worth the $$$ in your opinion for the custom paintjob?
Also, i see pics with the left side door mesh painted and pics with it unpainted....why?

the company smooth creations does a lot of ccustom paint jobs.

there very famous and you see a lot of there works at CES.

If you ask me, no i dont think its worth it. I think you can take 200-300 dollars to a airpaint artest and get near the same results, expecially in todays recession.

So that would put Neweggs price about right then considering, you're paying for the case itself also with the custom paint? ( $450 )

I've seen these (not the same one, but they might have others in other locations) in Fry's Electronics for $250 instore. Find a Californian willing to pick one of these up for you and ship it to you. I believe the B&W flame one was at the Fry's in San Diego.

really? haven't been to frys in a while but I may have to check this out. BTW, someone was selling one on the forums not too long ago (but it wasn't the same one in the OP).

Definitely not worth it to me. Really shouldn't be on the short list of anyone without more money than sense. However, if you are one of those, go forth and stimulate someone's economy. ;-)

i work in components at the palo alto frys right now. if any of you guys live near a frys, we can transfer any product in our system from one store to another upon request. as for how much these custom painted cases cost at frys, i will check into that myself when i have my next shift on wednesday

Prices also very competitive, sometimes better then newegg on sales..
