What are you comparing it to? It has horrible airflow compared to the CM690 or the Antec 900 that are each about a quarter of the price of the cosmos, let alone a stacker or a Ll PC-17 or a Silverston Kublai or a Ll PC-K07. Heck, it didn't flow as well as my modified Coolermaser centurion 532 or a P182 I built right about the same time with the stock tri-cools. So again I ask, what are you comparing it to to say it has some of the best airflow you've seen?

Five drives to be exact, four in raid-0 (seagate 7200.10) 500gb and the other one is 750gb for backups.

Better airflow then the CM690, Centurion 5, Thermaltake armor, Stacker 810.

The only needed fan that should be replaced is the one on the bottom so the air flows from top to bottom. I replaced mine with the Scythe S-FLEX SFF21F 63.7 CFM

Anyways with an ambient temp of 67F the reported temps on the 6300 & 2.8ghz is at 32-34C and 40-44C load. With all fans replaced it is 27-28C and 36-40C load. I forgot to add I am running a 8800GTS and a 3870HIS turbo. The VGA plastic guard/cooler thing is pretty poor in design. That is why it was removed...

wait, are you trying to say you're running an 8800GTS and a 3870 in the same system?

Thanks Zstream. Could you post a closeup shot of the HDD area? I'm interested to know how you are cooling them to keep them at 30-35C.

My hard drive temps are usually in the 30-35C depending on load.

Harsh....speak concisely and these things wouldn't happen.

Nice cable management! I need to pick up some of those cable retention mechanisms you have.

I never thought that my language used in my previous post would come under that sort of a response. After all this is a computer hardware site *cough*. I apologize for the above post...

Pictures of the hard drive's are coming.

I certainly meant no offense. Honestly, you'd be surprised the kinds of things newblettes try and say around here not realizing what exactly their implying. If you're happy with your case then 10 points for you, glad you like it. I used one of the same cases and hated it. That just proves how subjective case choices can be.

Ah before you said your budget, I was going to suggest Silverstone TJ-09/TJ-10 I absolutely love mine and have had 2 friends buy one after seeing mine and just inspecting the build quailty and airflow themselves.

Everything in my case is pretty chilly, I have a fan cooling the HDDs, 2 SilenX 120mm's on top, the two silverstone fans in place that came with the case. My CPU on normal usage and idle doesn't get all to hot but when I'm doing some intense stuff I can feel the fans pushing out hot air.

Sorry for the delay in pictures, I have been very busy at work and trying to setup my first fanless htpc. Well it has one 120mm fan...

Remember if you still think the hard drives are getting warm you can shoot cooler master an email and they will send you the plastic fan cage above the hard drive cage.

Raid-0 pictures

Wow, that's messy. I can't really see where your HDD cooling fan is?
