Hi,

I currently have a Thermatalke Volcano 7 cooler ( that noisy beast ). It worked well with my old Tbird 1.2ghz, but now i bought a Athlon XP 2500+. The tempature now is never under 50C. I am using Artic Silver thermal paste but it's still too hot. Also, my case temperature is kinda high, because the city where i live in is very hot ( an average of over 30C when it's cool ). So, can anyone recommend me any cooler ? I have a preference for thermaltake models 'cus they're sold here in Brazil without taxes and stuff.

Thanks,
Ivan

I like my SLK-700 w/74mm TMD fan. But you need to clean the goop left by the tape off of the bottom surface. Other than that, it's cost-effective, quiet, and provides excellent CPU cooling.

If you must have only thermaltake coolers, then try either the Volcano 7+ or the 11+.

But if they have thermalright heatsinks, about any of them will be better than anything made by thermaltake. The coolermaster aero 7+ is another good one.
