Hi, only the PSU is left for my new rig. And I am a bit confused between Cooler Master v1200W platinum and Corsair Ax 1200i .
My new rig is -

Core i7 6700K
Asus Maximus VIII Extreme
16 x2 GB DDR 4 3200 Mhz GSkill
GTX 980 Ti AMP Extreme
Corsair H110i GTX
Samsung 512 GB 850 Pro SSD
4TB WD Black
Cosmos 2 Cabby

Now which PSU should I go for?

If you think I should go for any other good brand, then kindly suggest.

PS : I will be getting another 980 Ti within a month. So I will be doing SLI.

Thanks in advance :>

They are both excellent units. That said the AX1200i (Flextronics) and the V1200 (Seasonic) are both overkill in wattage and price in my opinion. If I was buying a PSU for 980ti SLI myself I would get either a EVGA Supernova G2 1000W (Super Flower Leadex) or a Corsair RM1000x (Channel Well Technology).

EVGA 1000W GQ at $100 AR AP shipped is the best value 1000W unit in the US right now. There's no review of this unit, but knowing EVGA, it's probably just as excellent as the GQ 850W.

XFX Pro 1000W Platinum $124 after promo & rebate - a close second. Good choice if you want full modularity and a little better efficiency. It is a 3-4 year old design though, while the GQ is a brand new product. But the next cheapest Platinum unit is $150 from Enermax which is also 3-4 years old, and after that EVGA P2 1000W which is newer but $175, not really worth it over the XFX or the GQ.

The one thing I like about the AXi series is that you can monitor power in and power out, which I have found to be extremely useful for me.

If they are keeping the same OEM across the entire GQ line it's a FSP unit like the 850w and 650w.

OP bought an Antec 1300 W HCP Platinum looking at his posts, just though I'd update seeing he didn't bother.
