Just be careful. SOme motherboards rely on movement of air from the CPU fan in order to cool the chipset and voltage regulators. Also, as I have found myself, good air cooling can perform much better than cheap water cooling. The open box Big Typhoon from NewEgg ($24) is probably a better choice for many people than this thing. May be OOS now tho.

Very, very minimal. I'd be more worried about the cheapish pump dying while you are away.

Cooler master's retail price for this was 200 bucks, so I dunno, It should be ok quality considering Cooler masters' track record
