You need to be on their mailing list for that to work. You have to subscribe to their email specials.

Zap,

It is loud! After I installed liquid cooling on my videocard it is the loudest fan in the case. I cannot say that stock cooler was quieter because my videocard was the main noise maker.
Yes, I have AMD cooler with heatpipes. It's smaller, it's almost free (you pay more but you get warranty on CPU... OEMs are not covered) and it's not any worse than Cooler Master Hyper TX :)

Can you provide a link or the method used to mod to a 120mm fan? Thanks.

Got mine today from Newegg. This is great for < $6!! My CPU temps are down about 10C & my oc is up! The only problem I see is that prior to overclocking I did notice my board temp increased...

Why not just replace the Freezer 7 with the CoolerMaster. This cooler does work on 775 boards.

Got mine on my X2...dropped from 58-59C full load on my X2 @ 2.7GHz to around 47-48C full load....much more than I expected. The previous temps were from an Arctic Cooling Ultra 64 92mm aftermarket cooler as well. (The stock one wasn't worth testing at those frequencies.)

I have a weird issue where the fan doesn't start up on each reboot though...sometimes I have to just barely touch it or blow it to get it going. Not sure what's up with that....no worries since it's on 24/7. Barely audible in my Antec NSK4480B case.

The temp has to reach a certain threshold before the fan will spin. Wait for it & the fan will start on its own.

This is true on my Gigabyte board, but it has never been this way on my Biostar board. I have PWM and auto-controls disabled. Everything is full blast all the time in my X2 build. I've watched it not spin for 2-3 minutes in Windows running @ 40C and just a tap got it going.

This is back at SVC for $0.99 plus shipping after rebate.

However, tomorrow (Sunday) is the last day for ordering for the rebate to be acceptable.
I placed my order today. But, if they receive my order on Monday (October 1), will they print September 29 or October 1 as the order date on the receipt.

I have already sent them an email and explained this.

Not to worry - it's the date on your receipt. Just print it out from today.

shipping and a rebate stamp and envelope makes it about $10.00 for me.

Good deal if i needed a heatsink, but since i don't, not a good enough deal to get it as a spare or just incase item.

cheapest shipping is $8.29 for me.
