cooler master hyper 212+ ?

I just got the cooler master hyper 212+ and have one question. How tight do I tighten it to the mobo? I dont want to break anything but I do want the best contact I can get. How will I know when it is tight enough?

edit: yes, Im a noob with after market coolers. This is my first one 🙂
 
The Hyper212+ has a center pin that causes it to pivot in circular motion if it is not sufficiently tight. Tighten it till you feel that it does not pivot much. It is normal for it to pivot especially if the TIM has yet to set.

thank you for the reply. I think I got it almost just right. I'll play with that center pin in a few days. I'll let it "set" first 🙂 . I just got done testing the temps and so far my idle went from 18c to 12c and load went from 48c to 27c. That was just a quick test though. And loads quieter than the stock cooler 🙂
