Cooler Master DP5-6I31C vs ThermalTake Golden Orb

Hi guys...
I have a Celeron 566 running at 850MHz(don't laugh) right now on a Golden Orb. Late last year I purchased a Tbird 1.4GHz bundle with the Cooler Master DP5-6I31C(80mmx60mmx41mm with a 60mmx60mmx13mm fan at 20+CFM). I've since upgraded the Tbird's HSF to an Alpha 8045 so I have the Cooler Master lying around. I'm wondering if the CoolerMaster would outperform the Golden Orb? If so, maybe I should switch...since the CoolerMaster is also S370 compatible.

btw I'm on an Abit BH6 with a generic FC-PGA slotket...really ancient stuff but still usable...thanks!

I'm still using the golden orb on my celeron 566 oc to 850, and also have an extra cooler master 6131c.
The cooler master fan is a 6K rpm, at least mine is(MIM reports 6400 rpm).
My golden orb 3k rpm fan is like 26-28 db(maybe less), while the cooler master is 38-40 db.
celeron at 850 i think produces half as much heat as my xp1700.
If your celeron is stable, its not worth putting it on the celeron unless you can put up with the noise.
also, after ocing my celeron 566 to 850 for almost 2 years, I think it produces less heat than it did initially.

Well, I'm not concerned about the noise actually...it already sounds like a jet engine over here with all the fans I have so the extra noise generated by the Coolermaster would be insignificant. My system's running fine at 850MHz, but it used to be able to do 875.5MHz, but it wouldn't since quite some time ago...I'm wondering if an upgrade to the Coolermaster, if its even considered an upgrade, would help...
