UPDATE

LoL! How long has it been?!?!? Three months?

Heat tube cooler is still working like a champ, with or without a fan, in the Arizona Heat but...

Chinese POS slimline Amazon.com fan threw a blade last night... sounded like a Weed Whacker

Here's a snappie -- broken fan blade, laying on my "island bar" -- business card as a backdrop for contrast.

Didn't even last long enough to collect any dust...

Soooo, I'm back to the ghetto fan setup (pictured above) while I find a suitable replacement. :p

w00t!

Just discovered that a 80MMx25MM NMB fan will fit in there, with a millimeter of clearance.

Temps are fantastic:

Quiet too, with the fan mounted on the bracket. I think it's a keeper. :D

^lol.

edit: make it pushpull
BTW, I *think* you were joking -- trying to bump your post-count -- or whatever, but...

The fact of the matter is, it's summertime in Arizona, and my CPU temps have never looked this good.

I've been marveling at it, since I shoehorned the 80MMx25MM case fan, between my VGA &CPU coolers - and I just realized that the Tuniq Tower CPU cooler is now in a "pushpull" configuration. LoL!

Truthfully, I've never tried push-pull before, anywhere on my computer, but it seems to have made a huge difference!

Normally, during this time of year, my CPU temps are in the mid 60s.

Right now, the CPU is hovering in the low 40s (about the same temp as my VGA card).

Unbelievable, but true! :)

Here it is, sitting in my Mountain Mods U2-UFO case (sorry for the blur - too lazy to use my tripod) ...

NMB case fan on VGA cooler is pushing air upward into the Tuniq Tower.

TT fan (behind the plate with the engraving) is pushing air upward too, thus:

  • Pull
  • Push Pull
  • Push
Anyway, it works a treat, LoL! :D

And you can get the CoolViva Z1 for $3.50 [...]
Yep! Unbelievable, huh?

First-rate cooling -- Salvation Army pricing...

I bought mine on Amazon.com (see my pics in "customer images"):

I have an Amazon Prime account (free 2-day shipping).

Shipping @ Geeks.com is $7.00, so I saved myself a buck @ Amazon. LoL! :D

BTW, 11 customer reviews on Amazon (currently) - all 5-stars.
