How much does the aluminum frame impact noise when it's mounted? One of the main concerns with a fan like this is that the Al frame, being more rigid, may transmit more vibration to the case.

Also, what's the lowest smooth RPM or voltage possible?
Thanks.

Unfortunatly I just sold my cpu that was in my rig, so I wont be able to test it till Thursday. Probably everyone else will have theirs by then.

To answer your noise question. It comes with anti-vibration rubbers that touches the case and screws. So it wont actually touch your case!!!!!! :p I was very happy to see that. Its already advertised as very silent, but we will see.

It also comes with long 2 inch screws(so it slides through the whole width of the fan). Anti-vibration rubbers(as I already stated) and a 3pin - 4pin adapter as well! Also, I almost forgot, it comes with ZIP TIES as well!

It feels sweet though. Big Silver heavy sturdy aluminum 120mm fan heh.

Lol, i just opened the package and realized it's a 38mm thick fan. lol. Was expecting a 25mm one, guess i should've read more carefully. :)

Heh. Even more funny considering I posted the Fan specs down there as well so people would know its 38mm width. :p

the fan pushes very little air... but it is silent..
i put behind my radiator... and close to no air is being pushed out.....
switched back to my delta which has much higher pressure (12 times more by specs..... not sure if they are accurate)

Why bother with water cooling and 120mm if you're going to use a loud fan?

Water cooling isn't always only for silence. ;)

Silence is overrated anyways. :p The only time you need "pure" silence is when youre sleeping. What I do is just turn the fan speed down when I go to bed. And that is only in the small percentage of the time I leave my computer on at night downloading or encoding. Normaly it is shut off. My 2cents.

Heh. Its cause its a good fan. And cooler master and on top of that, is free. :p I have mine installed and working. Its a great fan. Seems like it pushes just a bit more air than the Antec 120x38mm fan that comes with my p180 case and is even a bit more silent. It has rubber like grommets to put behind the screws. So its only rubber parts touching the case. Its sweet. :p
