cooler for duron

am putting together a new system piece by piece....duron 750 on an asus a7v m/b. need help with cooler...any suggestions or past experience would be appreciated...

The Alpha PAL6035 and the GlobalWin FOP-32 are both good heatsinks for overclocking. The Taisol CGK742092 is also a good one but currently out of stock at every online store that I know of except their own and they are overpriced. The Taisol won't fit(without modification anyways) on some motherboards.

If you don't plan on overclocking then something like this Vantec would work fine.

Globalwin FOP32 is the good one....
or you can use FOP38 for better perfonrmance.... IF you can live with the noise 🙂

The Taisol has trouble fitting on the MSI KT7Pro2A in two spots. You'd have to modify it to fit with some elbow grease.

A7V here... just went from duron 650@850 with Aqua 650 (55°C) to 700@900 with FOP38 (43°C). A bit more noise, but I can still sleep with it running 24/7 2m away from my bed.
