Cooldrive? Does it really work?

I bought a Cooler Master Cooldrive when I was rejuvinating my old desktop PC.

Does it really do anything? I can't notice any difference in the case temps if I have one installed or not. But since I paid the bucks for a piece of excitingly machined aluminium, I feel I have to use it. What are your opinions?

A hard drive cooler isn't going to change your case temps, it'll change your hard drive temps.
