So does this mean that people, like me that are still running x6's are going to hold onto there systems a little longer? Glad I have 2 x6's and 3 x4's systems to play with until something else comes out.

The industry is still moving forward... just not the AMD side.

I jest. Let's wait until we have something more solid to draw conclusions.
 
Don't worry, Linus says you only need 2 cores.

Depends on what cores we're talking about. I wouldn't want to live on two Atom cores, and two Bobcat cores are barely meeting anyones needs, though a 4x dual-issue 128 bit FPU core APU would tickle my fancy for thin laptops and tablets. Plus you could shut off all but one of the cores for a nice long standby.
 
Does everyone on this thread have the attention span and memory of a goldfish? (I know I do)

Trinity is already out and Vishera will use the same cores. Unless AMD pull a rabit out of their hat, we pretty much know how it's gonna perform down to a t. Why is anyone speculating about things that are already set in stone?
