I might have missed it because I just quickly read through the linked article, but where did it say that a wireless frequency can be used to kill mosquitos. If that is true, I would like to know what that frequency is.
 
I was hoping it would be a hacked WiFi driver that cranked up the power to "kill" levels...that would be way too cool. And insanely dangerous...my favorite combination.
 
cool! but what if they don't die? do you really want those damn mosquitoes to know all your personal information through wifi?
