I dont care for Toyeast right now, ordered the 19th and today still no status. I emailed them several times, last week the responce was it will be shipped within 3 days, Yesterday I emailed again and they said five days. But today I got another message saying that they forgot about my order so they would ship it out tomorrow with a free gift... oh well I am no big hurry.

Yayayayayayay!! I got my order from ToyEast today - Shipped 7/26, expected arrival date was 8/7 - arrived today in Arkansas. Unfortunately the cars are at home and I'm stuck here at work for a couple more hours. I had ordered two TT Tree Celicas (supposedly two frequencies) but they shipped two of the same. Darn. :( Now I need to figure out whether or not to keep em both or ask for one of a different frequency. Kinda pointless to get two of the same so now my friend & I can't race.

Just got 2 "Bullets" ($32 total) from ToyEast today. Odered last Thursday so not bad for registered airmail. Since you have to sign for it had to make a trip to the P.O. to pick it up. Customs sticker showed "2 toys @ $10".

So far impressed with the speed, charging, etc.

Be careful getting it off the base (long screw from the battery compartment into the car).

I just scored a great deal with toyeast. I received my package yesterday and they sent me the wrong item, so I e-mailed them. Their response was that I could either return the package or I could keep the Tomy for $15. Try to find a better deal than that for a Tomy bit char-g(shipped!).

Anyone here from the SF Bay Area? I saw these for sale on a cart at Valley Fair Shopping Mall in Santa Clara / San Jose over the weekend. Not sure which brand they were, but the boxes were nearly entirely in Japanese. Anyone see these? Know if they are OEM or what?

Yeah i went to valley fair yesterday and saw them there at the stand on the 2nd floor rite? The ones that say TOMY Bit Char-g are the real ones (45-55 dollars) and the ones that are in the round buillet shaped plastic cases are called the bullet oems, those are 25 dollars....people say the Bullet are about 90% quality of the original, i suggest just get that i have one, they are good for almost half the price. Nice little stand, but a lil pricey. If u can wait just order from toyeast, they had the bullets for 10.80 + 8 shipping, and some of the originals for pretty cheap also.

WOOHOOO!!! I got my red Evo VII from Toyeast today (8/1). Ordered on 7/24 using PayPal, payment finally acknowledged and shipped out on 7/26, and expected to arrive on 8/6. So that's 6 days to get from Hong Kong to Atlanta, GA. I was surprised to find that my controller had a crippler capacitor because other people have reported the red Evo not having one (maybe they didn't look hard enough). Yoinked it out and my range went from 2 feet to 11 feet. That's decent enough range, but I'm going to do the Cat-5 car antenna mod anyway and milk a few more feet out of it. My friend's NSX-R also had a crippler capacitor and he got the 2.6 motor. That thing is too fast to control, so I'm probably going to get the 2.2 if any. The pager motor I planned on using is worthless because it was pre-Flex technology and is too big. Apparently only the ones that use Flex are compatible to work as Bit Char-G motors too. These cars are so cool :D

Pittsburgh sucks =P Going to be back there on the 20th or 21st. BOOOOOOOOOOO....

Anyway, I was chilling at the HK International Airport the other day waiting for my flight and they had the Initial D one for around $35. Think I'll pick one up in HK (hoping it will be cheaper than the airport), maybe a Skyline GT-R, Lancer EVO or Impreza STi too. But definitely the Initial D since I doubt that will be offered in the states through Walmart.

Oh man... this is gonna get expensive!

I'm in Kingston, NY. It shipped on the 26th and I got it yesterday, so that's almost 2 weeks. Still no status on the Supra I ordered. I bought the 3.0 motor for it, I hope it's not too much. Tinited the windows in the Nissan last night, went with silver instead of black, looks good.

Helyes - how long did it take to hear back from them? Did you email steve@toyeast.com? Or some other email? I got sent two cars with the same frequency (when they were supposed to be different) so I wrote them yesterday to see if I could exchange one.

ON the other hand, my friend put together the one I gave him last night (OEM TT Tree Celica White) - and dude, that thing just *RULEZ*. The 2.2 motor seems a little too powerful on his linoleum floor (it spins out everytime you accelerate to full speed from a dead stop), but we'll continue to try it out on different surfaces. I'll be getting a Tomy NSX-R today (yay!) so then we should be able to compare between the Tomy brand and the TT Tree brand.

The 26th to yesterday was almost 1 week ;)

I want to tint my red Evo's windows black, I think it'll look good and match the heat extractors and mesh grill. Did you use auto tint or paint the inside of the windows? I think I'll go the auto tint route.

Nice rig btw :) That's my project for next summer, to build a computer w/ mods to replace my aging Dell.

my two oem TT's came today

happy day

took 1 week to get from canada ebay

:)

yippi they rule

2.6 engines...

they spin out on the floor (wood and air hockey table and linolium) i think the air hockey table has the most friction (air turned off)

it seems to like right turns quite a bit better than left ones...

i played with the thing on the bottom to adjust it to a perfect but never seemed to get perfect... i have it set so that both ways turn good but it still seems to lean towards the right side... (i made obsticle course that require lots of right turns since i can do taht more... since both cars do that)

it only took them a day to e-mail me back, and it was steve.

I would like to know if there is comment on those OEM products, especially those OEM Digi-Q.
I have a Tomy Bit CharG already (S2000 2.2 motor, it's really faster than my friend's 1.0 motor RX-7) and want to get one with proportional turning. However, I heard those OEM might have a fake proportional turning which simply works like buttons.

Okay, I just got my oem regular bit charg. The problem is that the forward/reverse button on the controller is messed up. When I press forward, the car goes backwards and when I push th back button, the car goes forward. The left and right steering works fine and is correct. Any ideas on how to fix this problem?

You could take a look at the internals of the car. On the circuit board, there is a row of solder points labelled with F, B, L, R for front, back, left, right. My guess is to undo F and B, and resolder them switched around.
