This plugin gives the lyrics to the song you are listening to. Very nice plugin, give it a try.

LyricsAmp is nice, but you have to make the txt files yourself...this thing goes out and grabs the lyrics for you!!

third song: link to a review of the cd, no lyrics
fourth song: same
fifth song: listing of cd tracks, no lyrics

doesn't look that great to me.

EDIT: and all of the songs were ripped from cds with proper id3 tags.

Yeah I keep getting links to various things... guitar tabs, reviews, etc. I wonder if there is a way to make it search only ONE, good lyrics site.

yeah. the concept of it is a good idea, just not working for me. says 'lyrics cannot be found'. yet when i click on manual search, i get 10 trillion results all with lyrics. using 2.90. oh well. next time.

personally this is still one of my favorites: winamp key controller
don't need focus on winamp to change songs or pause/play or whatever
but this lyrics one is great too

yea, my old logitech used to do that. but i broke it, so now i'm being cheap and using a free after rebate compusa keyboard. i need to get one of those ms wireless multimedia keyboard things. or the logitech one...

For those who are having trouble with this plugin, it states in the readme that the first thing to try is to make sure the song name is titled properly.

My filenames are all titled like: (MetallicA) - Master of Puppets <-- in that format and it finds everything I have (many different bands, actually) just fine. They also all have ID3v2 tags with simple information. No problems here. Any discrepancy ?

It works with all my "Mainstream" songs but as soon as I try something less known it doesn't work. All in all its a nice thing to have even if it doesn't work 60% of the time (in my case)
