Hi Everyone:

Just wonder which Sempron or Athlon 64 on Skt 754 has such features. I am tempted to buy either the Athlon 64 3000+ ECS MB combo at Frys for $100 or Sempron 3100+ with the same ECS MB for $80 and I wonder if these processors have any of those features mentioned.

Thanks!

I believe all the 90nm Sempron64 chips have SSE3 support (Sempron64 2600+ and above with BX in the stepping).

It seems like the majority of the Fry's/Outpost Semprons were shipping the 130nm Paris cores. When I ordered for a friend back in late February, I got a 130nm Sempron (BA in the stepping). I'd check out the huge thread in Hot Deals to see what kind of chips everyone is getting now with the combo.

The A64 3000+ Fry's combo had all of that (they were Venice cores) but I think the deal is dead now, but may pop up for the Memorial Day (or maybe an even better deal).

The Sempron 3100+ combo is back at Fry's BM, but as someone mentioned they were Paris cores. Its quite possible they have moved on to Palermo cores now. You could always buy and it take it back if its not ("It doesn't fit inside my computer case" is a follproof excuse for returning).
