cool & quiet on x2

It's hot in here. I put a new x2 in my system and I cannot get cool and quiet to function. It says it's on in the bios, and the driver is run, but the app says "2400".

It's a a8n sli deluxe. Anyone have a thought?

Have you down loaded the latest CPU drivers from the AMD? AMD just issued drivers that enabled C n' Q for single core chips in may. Not sure about X2

Yup - downloaded the new one.

Look for the Asus forums and or just read a bunch of the X2 reviews...Some may have commented on CnQ not working with them...the AMD X2 bundles were all Asus mobos...
