Cool name for machine

i'm going thru a sci-fi phase (again) re-reading most of the stuff i read as a kid.. so umm i guess star names are cool.. my pics are:

arcturus, antares, acrux, beros (actually one of my computers is called that), procyon, necros, polaris, sirius

I always name mine after their uses.... my current computer is a media center, so my imaginative mind came up with Center The Media.

Names are over rated, if you want to look like a nerd.geek choose one of those weird names, but if you'd like to keep a low profile use your name.

Ive named my machine "Roadrunner" as the bird in the Cartoon. And when it boots it doesn't play the Windows Jingle its says:

- Bmeep Bmeep! stolen from the Cartoon as well.

Hopefully the name coupled with my humble effort will keep it fast and smart enough to stay out of the Jaws of the Willie Cayotes out there 😀

Ohhh U bet I need a GF.... But my fiancee left me X-mas eve (No I did get her nice gifts so that wasnt it) and I live in Germany where the gals are all strange (no not physically strange 😉) so yes I name my computer... But on the other hand Ive named all my computers and Ive had long term GF:s at the same time so i just don't thing there is a general correlation between the factors.

i dunno. Mine is (obviously) named L3p3rM355i4h. Thats just so that people know its my PC during LAN parties. I have a HDD thats named RAMROCKS. I have no idea when or why I named it that.

My other computer's HDDs are named by use:
C😛rograms
D:Media Whore (movies, pr0n, etc.)


It used to have a bunch more, 2 40GBs died, en masse and got replaced by a 250GB SATA.
