I'm sure you've all seen my threads where I ask questions and such. Well, the next question is: How am I going to name my new machine? My old one (current one, too) was called after myself, Jeroen. I think that name sucks. I hate my name. Please, give me some cool names for my brand new machine. And if you could, tell what it means.

Thanks :D.

Your name is actually kind of interesting. Then again, I like strange names. Then again, I lived in Israel for six years :D

Well, I live in the Netherlands, and everybody and their retarded cousin have the same name. It's like the American last name "Smith" or the Chinese last name "Chang". Everyone has that name.

Epimetheus. Hmm. I'm studying Latin and Greek. Ancient god of "Foreseeing". Interesting choice. Anyone got more?

Xplosion is such an overused and crappy name, much like that other guys computer name, Diablo. Hah.

It'll have my current graphics card in it, since it's not really going to be built for gaming.

I won't carve it in... It'll be the network name. Maybe later I'll have a costum case badge designed or something...

I'm just curious to know when exactly would having a real name for your computer be advantageous? When you speak to it?

For networking purposes, I name my machines something like "bedroom pc" or "laptop 1", etc.
