Cool n Quiet

Athlon 64 2800, Abit KV-80 mobo, drivers downloaded.

But nothing happens. I've overclocked to 2 GHz, but left the multiplier alone, and haven't changed any voltages.

Is there something I'm missing?

I went into the BIOS and there didn't seem to be anything I needed to do.

I left my computer on all night with no processes running and the AMD dashboard up, and it didn't seem to step down even once.

I know there are some people who really would rather not have this on their systems anyway, but I'd like to at least check it out.

Any ideas on what I might have missed or what might make it work?

I have the soltek-939 and CnQ works like a charm.
Theres a bios setting that must be set to auto (theres only disabled/auto) and thats it. AMD dashboard shows a voltage of 1.1v.

Did your board come disabled? Or did it come auto? I can't find where in my BIOS cool n' quiet is handled, but I swear I'm seeign as lot fmore autos than I am disabled's.

If I could only find the manual, I could confirm the fact. Glad to hear it's working for you though, that seems to be the norm - I feel I'm definitely in outlier land.
