My cool n quiet refuses to work. I have an A8v motherboard, and i am positive that the settings are correct. I have enabled it in the BIOS, i have aneabled ACPI 2.0 support. I have set it to Minimal Power Setting in the Control Panel, but when I monitor the speed it doesnt change, even if i leave the computer their for hours. Someone please help
 
yep everything is enabled. I have updated the bios numerous times and it still wont work. I have made sure that the ACPI 2.0 is set to yes, the cool n quiet is enabled, the 'minimal power setting' is enabled in control panel. Everything is correct but i wont work
 
Up to date motherboard drivers and winxp updates??? I dont know I am reaching for straws but it could be sometihng in the window environment...

What are your power options under control panel set as???
