Any reason to think the rams and niners wont be terrible? You know...like they were last year, and the year before that, and the year before that.

Rational thought has no place in sports fan-ness. For example, two weeks ago my opinion on Baron Davis was that he was an elite point guard, a key to a soon-to-be championship team. Now? He's an injury-prone chucker that'll kill his team's cap and lead them nowhere. 😉

No, not really. If they go 8-8 I'll be impressed especially considering the rough start the Rams face this year (Philly, Dallas, Giants, Seattle, Buffalo...)

I predict that the West will go to AZ this year. Which works for me since I've lived here for nearly a decade now (yet my heart is still in St. Louis)

Also...all NFL games on CBS and Fox are going to be HD this year so no real reason for me to get the stupid $99 super fan package.

As an aside, I received an e-mail from DirecTV day before yesterday stating my NFL Ticket subscription had been auto-renewed. I had no idea I was on an auto-renewal plan (I've only had DirecTV since last July), but I was thrilled. Saves me from having to spend the time doing it myself via online or through a customer service call (as I had to do last year). Also, I received a $50 discount for "early renewal," though I'm certain everyone on the auto-renewal plan does.
