COOL, I can Finally chirp my tires!

I built this engine for my car a few years back and put ALL the good stuff in it.
Ended up costing me around $3000.
But the one thing I didn't do was install a H/P clutch and pressure plate.
Well the clutch has been slipping now for quite awhile, so today I put in a 1800 Lb. Kennedy Stage 1 pressure plate and a H/P clutch disk.
Now I can finally FEEL where all the $$ went.

Only took me a few hours to do it too!!

72 VW squareback.
Soon to be a sedan delivery. (side glass is comming out and metal is going in)

Engine Mods:
1776 pistons and barrels (Ballanced)
Rods ballanced over all, and end to end
counter weighted crank (pro. ballanced)
Case opened for big bore kit
Case savers
Engle 110 cam
lightened flywheel (Pro. ballanced to the crank)
dial in semi hyd. lifters
heads ported and polished CC'ed and de shrouded with S/S valves (opened for big bore kit)
solid shimmed rocker arms with swivel feet valve adj.
Baby Delerto Carbs (rejetted)
Bosch 009 with elect. ign.
high pressure high volume full flow oil pump
Remote oil filter
remote therm. contoled oil gate
remote oil cooler
Deep sump oil pan (adds 3 quarts of oil)
windage tray in case
breather kit
header with hand made muffler system
VDO oil temp, oil pressure, amp., and tach.

Think thats about it....

I am a car dummy, I guess, but I have never heard the term "chirp my tires."

What does this mean?

I had a chance to buy a 57 chevy sedan delivery back in high school (1968) and couldn't come up with the $125.
I've wanted one ever since.
But NOW, good luck finding a 57 SD, so I'll make my VW into one.
The guy I bought my VW had a earlier squareback that he had turned into a SD.
It looked SWEEEET. (Hopefully mine will to, when I'm done with it)
I have all new carpet for it, new door panels, new fenders,...........it's been a ongoing project for several years.
My boss where I work, who just passed away a month or so ago had a 72 Vert I restored for him. It turned out GREAT. He got $10,000 for it when I was done.
Thats my goal for this one. That it turns out as well as the Vert did.

Been there, done that.
I wanted a car that got fair gas milage, and had some power to boot, was easy and cheap to work on.
VW all the way.
They didn't call it "The People's car" for nothing.
I've been a Auto Mech. Jet air craft Mech. and there is nothing easyer (That I know of) to work on.
Lets see you change a clutch in another newer car in two hours!!
