the triangle connecting the L (two side) has to have a decent surface area because the keyboard and mouse go there. There are 2 30 inch monitors that must fit on each side of the L. Anybody have some thing like this?

edit. the middle thing has like maybe a slide out keyboard/mouse area. It's designed so that the person sits/works in the middle on not on one of the sides.

Like my desk?

Dunno if the raised shelf on the one side would work w/ your setup though. Here are two others (both available at Fry's Electronics if you have one of those near you):

I just made a corner desk myself. Some pine boards, black paint, power tools I barely know how to use. It was absolutely epic. Oh, I made it in our living room too :D

I had a desk exactly as you describe until I sold it earlier this year.

I had that desk. It was amazing and only $150.

My dad gave it to my sister while I was living in the dorms and I haven't been able to find anything as good since.

yeah, it was too big for the home office once we had to move the guest bed in there to make room for the baby on the way.

Sold it on CL for $75, so it wasn't all bad

I have an L shape for the PC desk, standard ikea brand.

Hard to get a photo to fit everything but you get the idea. This one costs about $80? forgot, at ikea.

How's your back? I'd be in intense pain if I spent as much time as I do at my computer in that chair.

I've had this one for about 11 years now. It's big with lots of space and I like it. We got it at a local office furniture store. Not sure where, but I imagine that if you shop around you'll find one.

hey guys what model desk is that and where did you guys buy it?

I bought it at Office Max for $150 about 5 years ago. I think they were closing them out. I've never been able to find it sense.

hey guys this is the one I believe if you're still looking, also comes in the wood color.

That is different and quite obnoxious because the tower is in the way of your feet if you want to sit in the corner.

I have just about this exact desk where the tower is in the middle under the desktop / kind of poking about the desk and you have a ton of space on each side.

The PITA with the desk is getting the computer up and down and plugged back in...very hard to access if you have it butted against a wall...

Setting up Dual monitors was a little tough...it could easily be solved if you wanted to spend the extra money for one of those high end mounting brackets...

I paid around 125 for mine from Office Max about 8 years ago...been a good desk for the money

Learn to weld and make your own with $30 worth of steel and an oak top from a lumber yard. Can't beat the price and you'll know you're making something solid. Just made myself a computer desk two weeks ago and I'm happy with it. :)
