Cool, gas prices went down locally last night...

Looks like gas dropped $0.02/gallon last night, from $2.87/gal to $2.85/gal where I live. Of course, last time this happened, within days the price again went up by about $0.20/gallon.

So by my reasoning, I'm expecting we'll be breaking $3.00/gallon next week.
 
Yeah, that's what happened here!
Gas went down $.02 on Monday, (to $2.83) by Tuesday afternoon, it had risen back to $2.89.
 
Crude futures are about $75 and gasonline futures are over $2.10. Expect prices to go up.
 
last time gas went up by 20 cents crude oil had risen by 1.35, but as crude oil is going down by a dollar or so i don't see gas prices going down...?
 
i paid 2.97 for midgrade last night at BP, 10 minutes after i passed a Gulf that was 2.90. I almost kicked myself in the a$$. Hopefully they go down some. we will never see $1.50 for premium again lol
 
Gas is down to 2.75 here, and I plan on filling up my car tomorrow after I cash my paycheck, but I'm sure that just like last time I did this, the price of gas will go up before I by gas. 🙁
 
it's been over $3 a gallon for a week or more here in Cincinnati. In the last 2 days it's been 2.85 but it's gotta go back up.

I don't expect it to ever get below $2.50 again.

yea itll never go down again. atleast you have found that out, unlike everyone else who keeps b!tching about gas prices. if you cant afford it walk!
 
Last week it had ben holding steady at 2.999. Last night when I was driving home, everywhere I looked it was 3.049.

Already up to 2.85, my luck rules!! :laugh:
 
Dropped down to $2.71 (Lexington, KY) this week but was at $2.89 this morning. Who knows. Probably up as oil inched up yesterday above $74 again.

It'll be below 2.50 by september, granted there are no major hurricanes or wars.

2.50 a qt maybe.
 
Our gas is STILL $3.09, even with the drop in oil prices and with the new found surplus. They're just screwing us as hard as they can. I'm so glad the govt has decided to do something about it.
