they look a little more modern but definitely mismatched. no continuity in size or theme. old ones were definitely more intuitive too. need another revision.

Saying that most of the new the new icons are inconsistent with the style of the rest of the board would be an understatement, IMHO.

I like the new icons. While they may be totally different, they're clearer than the old icons. Of course them being half the size file wise as the old icons must help the load on the forum servers a bit as well.

Yeah, it cleans it up. Less anti-aliasing, which really helps for icons of this size, and the message toolbar means what it looks like it means now. It just takes some people a bit of time to swallow

Congratulations on the new icons! For some odd reason I never could remember which old icon was for profile and which for private message. They also look more professional to me.
