Cool cordless massage chair from OD for $64.99

I'm gonna get ones of these for my birthday today 🙂 It's a leather office chair (in today's Sunday flier for OD), with massage and a rechargable battery for $79.99. Way cool! There's a $15 off $50 coupon available at "Obese-Billfold" for a total of $64.99 shipped. My back can't wait 😀

The $20 of $75 OD coupon with referral ID does not seem to work any more. Anybody got it to work?

You are so right. I didn't realize that they expired 9/30. Thirty lashes for me.😱

There is a $20 off $100 one. I am trying to fill it up to $100 to take the $20 off, better with something with a rebate...

Heh...kinda neato. A rechargeable chair.

This suprised me, "warranty 5-year chair; 15-year massager "

15-year on massager? wow...

Might check it out at a local OD.

Am I the only one that doubts a battery's ability to power a massage chair effectively for a reasonable ammount of time, or questions the logic in making something that is traditionally a stationary piece of furniture cordless?

Even though I am a poor college kid, this looks like something shiny enough for me to waste last weeks paycheck on.

I found a working 15$ off $50 + free shipping coupon to make this look even better 🙂

Anyone actually try this chair out in-store?
Last time I got in on an OD chair deal, the chair ended up sucking big time.

I don't know...I have a masage mat that's rechargable and it lasts a good week when using it for 15-20 minutes a day. You could probably put a much larger battery in a chair, so I would think it'll work fine.

I sat on this in the store yesterday. 195 lbs w/no extra padding in the butt. 😉 The seat is a bit thin. While it was ok comfortable these have the tendency to compress after sitting on them for a while. I can only guess that they might get a bit hard. Combine that with the vibrating feature and it might be what some people are looking for. The battery had rundown so I couldn't test the massage. Cordless is better than corded. You don't have to worry about spinning around and tying up the cord. YMMV

Or trying to scoot the chair away from the desk and ripping the power cord out of the wall! :Q

Just let you guys know there is a new $20 off $75 OD coupon with referral ID popping up on FW forums, expiration date 11/1.

That's what I was afraid of. With the cheaper fillings, they compress after sitting on them for a while, and then can be rather uncomfortable if you don't have any extra padding in the butt. 😉
That's what it was like with the other OD "executive" leather chair deal. I sat on it for only a couple minutes at the store, and thought it was okay. Sitting on it at home for a longer period of time made me realize how much it sucked.

There is a new $20 off $75 coupon around without using referral ID, which expires 11/01.
Now the price is $59.99 for the chiair after discount

Got@pex is also showing this deal on their site now. The coupon code is clearly stated in the deal. So for the "coupon finding challenged"... you can have the deal hand fed to you there.

Thanks gonna order one : ) woot

Edit: shows out of stock w/ my zip. So I called up the locat OD, saids they got 80 of them. I cruise down to OD, talk to the manager, he hooked me up by giving me the chair for $59.99+tax. Got it home took 20-30mins to install. Massager is sorta lame. but for $59 can't complain chair is not bad at all, not gonna complain great deal imo.

I tried one out in the store today. They had it plugged in so the batteries were fully charged. I thought it was kinda cool. It looks cool too (for the price). There's a control panel on the right side under the armrest that controls different masssage areas and intensity. I ordered one for in-store pickup tomorrow. I used the $20 off coupon found on FW.

I ordered one last night as well. I tried doing it online and was denied delivery?? Said it was backordered. I was like NOO! But realized it was OOS at the local warehouse here in atlanta. So I did pickup at the store and it went through. Hope the box isnt too big for my 2 door coupe to put in there?

Update: After sitting in this chair for awhile, I must say the $10 chair some of us got in on is more comfortable. There is not enough padding for my taste. This may be necessary for the massager to work effectively, but I don't know. I really like the massager though. Now I don't have to use my massaging recliner to get the kinks out 🙂 .

That confuses me as well. How can they warranty the massager longer than the chair itself? Does this have padded leather armrests, or plastiv armrests. The armrests make a world of difference.
