Cool cognitive heuristics rule of thumb test

Anyone ever do this simple test (takes about 3-4 minutes)? It actually worked for me. Freaky, but cool.

The version I heard was:

Pick a whole number between one and nine
multiply it by nine
add the two digits together (if the answer was nine think 09)
subtract 5
match your number to a letter (1=a 2=b etc.)
Pick a european country that starts with your letter
Pick a one word mammal that starts with the last letter of your country (no polar bears or elephant seals - nothing like that)
now pick a color who's first letter is the same as your mammal's last letter
