It's a typical usage of A/C in modern engines/games - "outsourcing" postprocessing efects, lightning/AO and particle effects to a compute shader and execute them asynchronously with graphics queue to gain some performance - approx. 2 - 10ms gain per frame (depends on engine and A/C implementation)
