COOL! 1/18th scale race track being set up at my work right now! (updated)

My buddy Tim's here setting up his personal track in one of our large conference rooms on the floor. It's a HUGE track! You can find info about the track at the company's website: http://www.rcp-tracks.com

That track lane is probably 3 feet wide. The track is approximately 21'x12' big. 😀

The cars he's got are 1/18th scale electric cars. His cars are $600 for being made out of carbon fiber and titanium and hit speeds of 200 scale mph :Q He says his track is the only one close to it's size in Oregon (for rcp-tracks anyway).

That's pretty cool. I've thought of picking up some equipment to play around with, but I have enough expensive hobbies already. 😉

Looks like a StreetX course from NFSU2. Doesn't seem very good for a F1 style race since theres not alot of straightaways and genlter turns

I'm not sure, but it seems to be one of the most popular setups, from what Tim says. He's been involved in miniature racing for years. We'll see. We can always redo the track. 🙂
