Cooking up some baby back ribs tonight

So my butcher shop was having their annual vacation sale where everything is buy one get one free. I picked up a crap load of steaks, chicken and ribs.

I am going to grill the steaks tonight but also wanted to try the ribs. Whats the best way of cooking them? I looked online and it said cook them low and slow in an oven and then bring them to the grill.

From what I've read cooking at 275 in the oven should be good but for how long and how long do I cook them on the grill?

I don't have a smoker so that is out of the question. The ribs already came marinated so I wont have to season them.

Thanks!

I prefer my ribs to have some consistency to them. Rib meat that falls off the bone makes baby jesus cry. At that point it's overcooked mush.

This means I cook at a bit higher temperature for shorter amount of time. In the winter this means in my over at 350 for an hour or so and then 10 minutes under the broiler set to high. I prefer dry rubs to sauce, as well.

You can do racks just using the grill.

Set it up with half direct and half indirect heat. Sear first over direct heat, then allow to cook in indirect heat for 3 hours at 250. Foil tightly and return to grill for 30-45 mins more and you will have some good eats.

I put dry rub on them, wrap them in foil, and punch holes in the foil so some of the moisture can escape. Put them on a rack in a roasting pan and leave them in the oven @ 225F for 3 hours. Remove them from the oven and allow them to rest for 15 - 30 minutes, then finish them on the grill with a light brushing of sauce, about 5 minutes on each side.

Remember to pull off the membrane off of the back of the ribs.
Lift up a small corner of the membrane with a knife than use a paper towel to grasp it and pull.
