I bought 3 pounds of ground beef the other day cuz it was on sale and meatloaf is good reheated and I need to know how long I should cook it for so that it will cook through. Also, how hot? 350F?
thanks,

Touche...I guess I could, but I think I will just check it visually. As I am a poor college student and cant afford a fancy thermometer. And to make dinner even better my roommate is bringing me the yeungling he owes me....
I think investing $10 bucks in a meat thermometer is worth not getting food poisening. You don't want to mess around with ground meat. In any case you want the temperature to be 160F for about 5 minutes or so to to kill all the evil bacteria hiding within.
And just to make sure, you're not just going to stick a wad of ground beef in there are you? That would be na-sty. I like to add ground garlic croutons and sage.
