Cooking & Serving Live fish...

Chef descales fish
Removes some of the innards,
Holds fish's head while dipping body in frying oil,
Places fish on plate and 'artistically' slices the sides of the fish for presentation
Pours a sauce over the fish
Serves to a family.

AND the fish is still alive, mouth and gills moving... while the family reaches in with chopsticks and partakes of the fish's tasty meat.

Now, I'm no animal/fish rights activist and I'm not harping on the argument of whether a fish truly 'feels' anything and I'll even give a nod to different cultures/different tastes BUT that is just a little bit...

perhaps it's better if a sushi chef does it?
chef descales fish,
remove meat very fast and serve as sashimi,
chef put fish back in water tank
customer eat sashimi while watching the fish swim

That's wrong, too. Just as bad.

That's just silly.

Why don't they swim after a shark and just bite it?

That would show 'em! 🙂
