Cooking of Omaha Steaks

Over in the "Hot Deals" someone mentioned a bunch of 6oz bacon raped filets. These are great steaks!

My favorite way to cook them is to through (gently lay) them on the barbeque for about 7 minutes (medium) on each side then crank it up to high (gas grill) and turn the steak up on its side to get the bacon nice and crispy!

Thanks,
Ryan

Charcoal would definitely add a lot of flavor, especially if you throw some liquid smoke in the mix of the charcoal or get some hickory flavored briquettes. Great stuff! I also like to marinade my steaks in worcestshire sauce to give it a great natural flavor enhancement.

Tip from the "anandchef" AKA: Scarpozzi. Throw a couple of cloves of garlic on the coals as well. The garlic's smoke will saturate the food and lock in a great flavor!

Scarpozzi, not all blondes are women though!
