its that damn time again. my daughter is in girl scouts and starting to sale the damn cookies again.

i have to call all my family and make them buy cookies. And we are going to have box's and box's of the damn crap in my office. last year we had 30 case's of the junk.

sigh.
 
I need to find a co-worker that has a kid in Girl Scouts so I can order some this time around. I hate waiting until they are selling them at the stores in town as they are invariably out of the ones I want.

yeah. we got some from my daughter and a good friend of the family's daughter is in scouts. so we had to buy from her.

i don't even like teh damn cookies and i had 2 box's.
 
I've still got 2 boxes in the cupboard, I don't eat the damn stuff. Why oh why can't I say no to the cute kids when they ask me to buy their cookies?
 
How much are girl scout cookies in your area? I think they're 4.50 a box this year in my expensive NY suburb. I used to get them from my relatives in rural Ohio for half the price they are here.
 
I only buy cookies from girl scouts who are 16+, because that's the legal age, so I don't get in trouble for what I do w/ their cookies.

they are $3.50 a box here. wich the troop gets $.25 a box! woot!

Be careful with swallowing, the older ones generally have hair on their cookies.

pfft.

though the troop really needs the $.25 per box. it helps pay for the trips that the girls do. As it is its still expensive since we don't make much.

its a small troop. think there are a total of 15 girls and they are going to lose 2 (both are 16 and getting bored).

though last year they made enough to take the troop to a ice hogs game (local hockey team), mesuem of science, and the zoo. though that was with my wife and other leader doing a lot of begging for tickets, reductions etc.
 
Sweet, I love girl scout cookies. I finished a few boxes on my own at the office last year. Did not realize it was already that time again! Not bad of a price either, 4 bucks a box or something like that.
