Yep, nothing but a troll. Move on folks, nothing to see here.

First I am not trolling this really did happen. Second I think I was responible. I help lower his temperature. I kept bring rags socked in icey water on him. I would have to run back and forth because his body would heat up the cold water and make it hot after a few min.

Are you an EMT? Paramedic? Physician?

No but it seem logical to lower his temp.

It is wayyy too late to bring logic into this thread.

You all make it seem like I care more about not getting in trouble then the life of my own blood (family). I assure you that is not the case. I really didn't hink he would die. If I thought he would die I would have called 911. As long as he is breating then I thought all should be fine.

Right.

Convulsions, fever, and a heart rate of 150+ bpm is nothing to really be concerned with.

you are a retard
you are not a doctor
you are in fact an idiot

People who are vegtables for the rest of their life can breathe too... i guess they are fine...

you're pretty lucky he's not in a coma, or brain dead, or dead.

The convusions where not non stop. He would convulse for a few seconds then stop. A few min later he would do it again.

Good thing you guys seeked medical attention since this went on for 3 hours.

Medical attention was not possible because he was under 21. We both would have gotten introuble. Me for giving it to him and him for drinking it.

Big fvcking deal. Own up to your actions pussy.

Thread would have been infinitely more entertaining if the guy had died or had permanent brain damage...

this is Vi's wife talking-

Any time that a seizure lasts longer than 5 minutes in a person who's never had a seizure before it is a medical emergency. Your cousin sounds like he was having a febrile seizure. The longest these are supposed to last under even the strangest of circumstances is 20-30 MINUTES. You let your COUSIN stay that way for 3 HOURS. Even now, you need to get your cousin to a doctor to see if he has any sort of lasting damage from convulsing that long.

Also, does your cousin take any other medications of any sort? Does he have any other medical condition you two geniuses didn't think about? Alcohol can aggrevate a good number of medications and conditions. Get your cousin checked out!

Consider this a lesson of what not to ever do in the future.

I bet you lost this moron after the first two words of your post.

You are probably the biggest idiot ever. If he stops breathing, and it takes more than 8 minutes for the EMTs to get there, your friend will be brain damaged. ANYTIME someone goes into a seizure, CALL 911! How can you be so dumb? You don't know what was going on. Allergic reactions, especially severe ones like that, need to be treated immeditally, both in the field and at the hospital. At the very least he probably could have used some epinephrine via EpiPen, and even then, its only temporary relief. Take him to the hospital now. God damn, I swear people just get dumber and dumber...

BTW, such a high heart rate when resting could be life threatening. You took a heart rate of 150+, and you are not trained to assess this person. Under certian conditions, Medics push drugs to stop the heart and restart it because it is going so fast. Sigh...IDIOT!

He didn't convulse for 5 min straight. It was a for few seconds then he would stop, then a few min later he would convulse again for a few seconds, then top, the a few min later more convuslions.

He might have convulsed at intervals, but you are a moron full-time.

And this makes it better how? Is your cousin also diabetic, cause that would just be a great thing...

You do realize that the heart rate was so high because his blood pressure dropped tremdously, right? Anaphylactic shock will do that to people. Look up that term, and realize how close your cousin came to death

I am sorry, I can't change how I acted. But I was just wondering if this happen to anyone else. Also my cousin is in perfect health besides this alcohol problem.

I don't believe anybody could be so stupid as to make that statement and mean it. Ijust don't believe it.

You're bored, just trying to make a thread.

We're not doubting the fact that you're a selfish, ignorant kid who cares more about staying out of trouble than the health of his cousin. We're doubting the fact that the human race could produce somebody as flat out stupid as you.

VTboy, stop trying to defend yourself. I'm sure everyone here could cut you some slack if you admitted you made a potentially disastrous mistake and decided to learn from it.
