I notice he says that he is sorry to have robbed the Wendy's but only says he is sorry the cop died. That is not an apology for killing him.

To be honest, I dont have the time to put effort in feeling sorry for a cop killer.

I'm not sure a cop killer is any worse than any other sort of killer. The only difference is that we have maintained the traditional legal structure that attacking the State Power is a more serious offense than attacking privately.

That said, I'm not big on the death penalty (I think it is totally ineffective and somewhat barbaric), but I also can't say I feel too bad for the guy.

Seems to me its 100% effective I don't know of someone that lived through it yet.

We've been waiting here in TN for this worthless piece of sh!t to die. I hope they finally go through with it this time.

The study concluded the drug protocol a "failure" because the prisoners had below acceptable levels of thiopental in their systems indicating they probably suffered immense pain before they died.

Anyone that kills someone else for no good reason deserves to be removed from the living. But we just had a thread about this last week. I say bring back the Guillotine or something. It's free. Just have to sharpen the blade every so often and maybe replace the ropes when they wear out.

I have always believed that if someone gets the death penalty for murder their sentence should be carried out in the exact same manner as the person they killed.

Stab a woman 34 times, rape her and then cut off her head? Well buddy you get the same treatment.

It has been 7 years since I had a CCL in Tennessee. It was like $0.09 a round then. We used to reload our own to save money.

What does it cost now?

Weren't there many cases where the guillotine didn't fully cut through and they would have to reload it a second time?

A moratorium continues in California - home to America's largest death row with 664 inmates - after a federal judge ruled in December that prison personnel are improperly trained and the execution chamber is too dark and poorly designed.

What... do they want it to be bright... colorful... a nice window with drapes?
