converting tapes to MP3

Hi all,

I'm looking at converting all my parents cassette tapes. Since there will be so many of them, I can't just take their tape deck to convert all of them. So I was looking at my options

Ion Tape2PC

Plusdeck 2c PC Cassette Deck

Has anyone used either of these?

Does the Ion Tape to PC have auto-reverse? I couldn't find anything about that on the product specs.

Thanks.

instad of a $130 machine you could get a casette player for like 99 cents at a thrift store and use free software like mshan suggested

but you'll need a 3.5mm male to male adaptor.

yep. most are from india too.

I'm going to borrow their Onkyo tapedeck and use audicity whenever i find the time. i still need to go through about 200 floppies because my parents used to have one of those floppy disk mavicas and i want to make sure there aren't any pictures on them before i toss them.
