I am brand NEW at this - using a CDRW - I have the latest NERO, trying to figure out how to use it. I see that MP3's must be converted to WAV Files in order to play them in your CD Player - - - - BUT - - - - I do not see anything in all I've read that tells me I can use NERO 5.5+ to do this???
Do I need another software program to do this conversion? Is it even worth it? I was reading another thread here that indicated that the sound quality is POO-POOy! converting like this.
What is the best way to go about downloading good quality CD playable music - and BEST place to to the same?

first of all, the quality of your music file, wav or mp3 will be dependent on the bitrate. You can specifically search or determine the bitrate of a music file before you download it on most major music engines. So, I would go along this path, downloading high-quality mp3s if you need better quality because downloading wavs instead is a much longer process and doesn't even guarentee quality of file. In terms of an mp3 to wav converter, you can find plenty here

The easiest would be Winamp or Xmms, depending on your OS.

Both are similar and both have a diskwriter output plugin that converts mp3s to wav files.

If your using Nero 5.5 then you don't need to convert the files to .wav files. It will work fine with .mp3's. Just be sure to select "Audio-CD" as your compilation type, then drag and drop. :)

GREAT! Thanks Ben et al for the HELP.
I am using, or going to, NERO 5.5+; so from what you say Ben, all I have to do is go ahead download MP3's of choice, then, when I get enough to make a CD, I pull up my NERO, choose AudioCD, and NERO will do the rest and I'll be able to play those MP3's on my my car CD Player. RIGHT?
