I have WinXP and recently did a convert to NTFS with partition magic. When i look at what version the NTFS is, partition magic says it's 3.1. Isn't that the old WinNT version? I know Win2k has 5.0, what does WinXP have, 5.1? Anyone know how to "upgrade" the partition? Also what cluster size should i make for speed.

I don't remember why people started calling NTFS versions 5.x, but in the filesystem the version numbers are 3.0 and 3.1, so that would be the XP version. But it doesn't really matter, Win2K can read 3.1 fine because only minor changes were made and XP will automatically upgrade your NTFS partitions when you boot it up.
