Converting AOL Favorite places for use in IE?

Man is this embarrasing, asking an AOL-related question

I'm trying to convert my grandfather's Favorite Places (.pfc) so he can import them into IE, however, the program I've tried using didn't help (a simple java app from aoleave.com). Other than doing this one by one, is there a tried and true way of converting AOL 9 favs to an importable .htm file? If anyone can help, that'd be great, he wants to get rid of AOL ASAP but needs hit favs!

I could try, but as far as I know, AOL doesn't support any kind of conversion/exportation...

that's what I'm trying to avoid, he's got almost 100 Favs
