Windows? OS X? Linux?

Do you have the original CDs?

Is this for an iPod? Pretty much every other player supports WMA so there'd be no good reason to transcode for them.

Goldwave will do this. It's free and easy to use. Open file, click save as and choose file type.

And just so you know, what you're doing is called transcoding... it's recompressing an already compressed file which will severely cut sound quality. If it's used for a ringtone or something where quality isn't a concern go nuts. If not, I would suggest reripping or any way of acquiring it directly to mp3.

If you grabbed them from Sony, I'm going to bet they're DRM'd and can't easily be converted.
