convert rar to iso-bin

hi everybody, i am a noob to anandtech and i just downloaded this file which is in rar format. i need to convert it to iso or bin. can u give me a program to use and tell me how to use it

It's not a conversion, pre se. RAR is a compression format like ZIP. Use an archiving program like WinRAR or PowerArchiver to extract the contents.

Why do you need to convert an archive to a cd image? That doesn't even make any sense.

I figure the RAR file contains an ISO image file. He's just confusing one for the other.

Try looking inside the file for the iso or bin?

Also be sure it is a .rar file. Sometimes when I download iso / bin files, they get the rar icon, but are not in reality rar files.
