I have two daughters, he has 4 boys. We both have good senses of humour and we joke a lot with each other. On his last birthday, I bought him a gay porno.

Last time he was over my 4 year old daughter and his 4 year old son were walking, talking and holding hands - it was very cute.

He goes up to his four year old son, whispers something to him and comes backs to me. All of a sudden his 4 year old (still holding my daughter's hand) starts saying "tap that" over and over again.

I felt like this stepped over the line.

So I walked up to him and said "You know they say one in four boys is gay - my money's on Johnny" (his second oldest).

We haven't really spoken since.

Wait...he's teaching his son to make sex jokes about your 4 y/o daughter, and you still call him a "friend"? WTF?

He totally stepped over the line. But instead of dealing with that head-on, you turned around and did the same damn thing.

Okay, I get being caught by surprise and reacting badly - it happens. But WTF do you care if you never speak to him again? Are you going to take your daughter over there and subject her to more of the same? Where do you draw the line to protect her?

Gay porn?

Tap that?

Your son is gay

Sound like you both have LOT of growing up to do. Sad to see that such people are raising kids.

Friend you said?

Be careful with this word. In your ENTIRE LIFE, you will be LUCKY (extremely) lucky to find even handful or TRUE/REAL friends.

Yea. At first the friend was probably thinking the gay porno was a joke - but when he made the comment about his young kid being gay, he put 2 and 2 together and realized he's probably a pedo.

I wouldn't have talked to you any more either.

i was going to make that joke..but then edited it because i had a feeling it hit t close to home.

Sounds like you jump to conclusions way too early based on little to no information.

Well, from your OP, you and your friend sound immature and not like grownups.

Giving gay porno as a joke gift? How old are you?

Your friend telling his son to say "tap that". How old is he?

You both sound like you are still in your college years.

true.@O.P:its easy to get friends but not the ones, like your friend who has Phd in gay jokes😀.Unlike computers,we,humans tend to make mistakes, sometimes stupid and totally unintentional. What makes us human is our ability to 'forgive'.So Go and say sorry to him,im sure he will be also sorry, although many here wont like the idea.its not easy to maintain a friendship, either.

I don't think your handling of the situation was great at all, but seriously who tells their 4 y/o to say "tap that?"

A dude w 4 kids, telling one of his kids to say, "tap that" while he holds a little girl's hand. This is our society today...We're fucked.
