I have two daughters, he has 4 boys. We both have good senses of humour and we joke a lot with each other. On his last birthday, I bought him a gay porno.
Last time he was over my 4 year old daughter and his 4 year old son were walking, talking and holding hands - it was very cute.
He goes up to his four year old son, whispers something to him and comes backs to me. All of a sudden his 4 year old (still holding my daughter's hand) starts saying "tap that" over and over again.
I felt like this stepped over the line.
So I walked up to him and said "You know they say one in four boys is gay - my money's on Johnny" (his second oldest).
We haven't really spoken since.
Wait...he's teaching his son to make sex jokes about your 4 y/o daughter, and you still call him a "friend"? WTF?
He totally stepped over the line. But instead of dealing with that head-on, you turned around and did the same damn thing.
Okay, I get being caught by surprise and reacting badly - it happens. But WTF do you care if you never speak to him again? Are you going to take your daughter over there and subject her to more of the same? Where do you draw the line to protect her?
