Control two programs at once using two keyboard/inputs?

Is there a way I can have two programs side by side and control each one using a separate keyboard?

I want to have one keyboard/num pad entering data into one program. And a second keyboard/num pad entering data into the second program on my screen. And not have to switch back and forth between programs.

Is there software out there that does that? Its a WinXP machine.
