I have two of my case's fans plugged into my Chaintech VNF3-250, and I want to know how I can control the speeds of those fans via software. I tried speedfan, and it didn't work, so anyone have any other suggestions or maybe I am just not doing it right?

Damn, its gonna end up 20 bucks just to control 2 fans that are hooked into my motherboard...I thought that speedfan could control fan speeds? Whats the point of motherboard fan connectors if all you can do it monitor their speed and not change it!

In case you missed it epsilon9090,for the 3rd time you can NOT control the fan headers on this motherboard via software, you'll need a hardware solution.

Get a fan controller or 7volt the fans.

To provide power and monitoring capacilities - nothing more. Without them you'll be stuck with molex connectors(which you might run out of) and no fan monitoring capabilities
