If you donate $250 or more, PayPal will provide your name, billing address, email and donation amount to UNICEF so that UNICEF can provide you with a receipt for your donation.

Even if you dont, please help out. I'm sure we've all seen the news and what's going on in SE Asia - and we know more people are going to die becuase of the diseases that will come afterwards... and sure there might be thread crappers - but honestly... help out if you can

and if you dont trust the link - just direct your browswer to paypal and click on the Unicef link on the right hand side. Thanks for your help. Happy New Years people

Google ways to donate.

You can also donate to the American Red Cross through Amazon with the same $250 donation receipt.

Privacy Notice: If your donation is $250 or more, Amazon.com will provide your name, billing address and donation amount to the American Red Cross and the American Red Cross will provide you with a receipt for your donation. Other than this, Amazon.com will not share information about you with the American Red Cross.

So far they've collected over $10 milllion with an average donation of about $80.

I'd do it through Amazon, which gives the month directly to Red Cross, seems like the safest way. Besides, who doesn't have an Amazon acct.

Whichever way works out, thanks. there's a website that acts as a watch dog that is making sure money goes to where its needed -

http://www.charitywatch.org

Not sure about this particular site, but that is darn good advice. There are bound to be some "charities" come out of the woodwork for this or any other disaster. Stick with the legitimate ones. The links from Amazon are probably totally legit.
